Also you need to go to the website www.midhudsonconference.org and get: - The registration - The medical form (which you will need to have completely filled out) - The participant contract form - The parental consent form You will need to have the child's birth certificate and the child's report card as well. On Thursday we will be taking uniform measurements. Also during bad weather, check your emails for practice cancellations and changes. Practice Will Be at The Middle School *Reminder, please have the following to be submitted by the first day of practice (report card, medical, birth certificate). Without these forms fully filled out, your child will not be able to participate. * The participant’s age on July 31st of the current year shall be the participant’s age for the coming season. Our practice schedule is as follows: July 30th - August 31st 5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Mon, Tues.,Wed, Thurs. Sept. 1st - Mid Nov. 5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Mon, Wed . Younger squads may go to twice a week. Note - It is very important that all girls make every practice to ensure a great routine. Practice uniform: Non pocket shorts, "softees" No spaghetti straps, White tee shirt preferred. Hair must be up at all times. Labeled water bottle a must. Game uniform: Skirt, shell, briefs and ribbons, Provided by New Paltz Hurricanes. The rest of the items need to be purchased at Modells during "Team Week" White turtleneck body suit (snap at bottom, no midriff) White ankle socks Cheer sneakers (last years style may be worn for practice) Saturday October 21st - Mid Hudson Conference Competition, Poughkeepsie Civic Center For those squads that compete: Nov. 4th - Regional Qualifier, Times Union Center, (formally Pepsi Arena), Albany NY. Saturday Nov. 17th Regionals, Sovereign Bank Arena, Trenton NJ. If you are interested in becoming a coach or being a team mom please contact Jennifer Pottinger, Cheer coordinator at 629-6116 Thank You "we'll see you at the field July 30th" Please note that NO parent and/or guardian will be allowed in the practice area or fields AT ANY TIME. If you need to talk to your child's coach please do so before or after practice. All paperwork MUST be handed in for any cheerleader can practice.
